    Exactly as described. Made for a heavy sock and/or thick(er) insert/support .... I would definitely order 1/2 size down from your normal size. I wear an 8.5 and I ordered an 8 and the size is right. This is my first steel toe version, but I've owned 3 pair of the soft toe.
