I made a 1/8" thick spacer to go in between the intake elbow and engine. This along with a second gasket provided ample clearance. My engine is a model ECV-100, other models may not have this issue. The carb ran the engine well and the adjustable main jet is certainly a plus. The carb was priced low enough and the ship time was excellent. I recommend this seller.
