    I ordered three scales with readouts. Two out of three of the scale read heads appear to be faulty. These were installed of a manual lathe and as such the scale can be moved without any electrical equipment on, so there is no electromotive flux to interfere. After insuring that the scales and read head were clean, which after a new installation was easy, the readouts on the faulty dro' s would either climb when still or jump randomly. These units have very poor quality control.
