Mahalo Don, I got hooked on Hawaiian numismatics a little over a year ago, and love to add items to my collection that have some relevance to my life. My younger brother attended Hanalei School in the 1970's, not when that token was in use, but there is the connection. Not as direct as the Waimea Jr High School token that was in use while my wife, as a student, had to collect the tokens in the cafeteria and then take them to the principle's off ice to count them.
