Reviews
"The storytelling has an easy mastery; the prose is lean and muscular, without a word wasted. How well Kent knows his stuff! Not just the jargon of the high seas -- the pawls and maintops and the quarter-boats and the catheads -- but the psychology of naval men in uniform." --"Sunday Telegraph", "A rousing adventure to keep us turning the pages, all flavoured with a nautical tang." — Historical Novels Review, "A rousing adventure to keep us turning the pages, all flavoured with a nautical tang." -Historical Novels Review

Synopsis
After the war with France has ended in 1818, Captain Adam Bolitho is given command of the newly commissioned frigate Onward and sent to North Africa on a diplomatic mission to accompany the French frigate Nautilus in a show of solidarity. He knows he is lucky-the voyage should be easy; but Adam longs for a chance to marry the beautiful Lowenna and settle down on the Bolitho estate in Cornwall. Instead he must deal with the envy and ambition of his officers, hidden agendas among his men, and the former enemy's proximity. Then the Nautilus becomes a sacrificial offering on the altar of Empire, and the hunt is on for a treacherous foe. Suddenly every man must discover for himself whether the brotherhood of the sea can transcend old hatreds and an ocean of blood., After the war with France has ended in 1818, Captain Adam Bolitho is given command of the newly commissioned frigate Onward and sent to North Africa on a diplomatic mission to accompany the French frigate Nautilus in a show of solidarity. - _***n (168)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseThe "Latin Classics. Volume 2" CD is brand new, as stated in the ad.The disc itself is of good quality. The CD was packaged in a cardboard box, and unfortunately, the jewel case cracked during transportation and delivery, but the seller compensated for this issue by refunding 20% of the order price. The seller always responds to customer messages, which is very nice. The seller is honest and respectable. I am very pleased with the purchase. Thank you very much! I wish the seller all the best!

It's a DVD and I have not played it yet but it is brand new and in sealed packaging. It is what I expected and as described. The price included shipping and was very reasonable. Ordering from another country went very smoothly. Lots of shipping communication. No communication with seller was needed. I am very happy with this seller and definitely recommend them.

Shipping time was the usual two weeks which is understandable. I do consider the price to be fair all said and done. Overall, another great transaction. Thank you.
