The Brother MFC-J430W printer is a compact, all-in-one multifunction inkjet printer with a wireless network capability and automatic document feeder. It is ideal for use in homes and small offices, with features that allow you to print, scan, copy and send fax messages to and from your computer. The Brother MFC-J430W printer features a built-in wireless 802.11b/g/n network interface that is easy to set up. It is compatible with modern wireless routers and works just as well with older models. Having the capability to print wirelessly helps improve overall productivity and rids your space of clutter as it significantly reduces the number of cables used in your office—a benefit that is especially helpful if you have multiple computers connected to the same printer. Devices and computers that are connected to the same wireless network can send fax messages and print straight from the device without needing to install any printer drivers, or with very minimal setup. Mac OS computers and devices can print directly through Apple’s AirPrint technology or Brother’s iPrint&Scan, and other devices can print through Google’s Google Cloud Print. The unattended fax, copy and scan feature allows you to load up to 20 sheets of paper on the automatic document feeder, and the printer can easily be controlled from the 1.9 inch colored LED display, with easy-to-use menu and buttons. The flatbed tray can load letter-sized paper while the automatic feeder can load legal-sized paper. The Brother MFC-J430W printer is capable of producing fast color prints on demand. With the fast print mode, you can print up to 33 pages of black and white documents per minute and up to 26 pages per minute for colored prints. With a maximum resolution of up to 6000 by 1200 dpi and droplet size of 1.5 picoliters, you can be guaranteed of high quality printing that is suitable for documents and photos alike. To preserve ink cartridge usage, you can set your printer on Ink Save Mode. Additionally, with the 4-Cartridge Ink System, you will only need to replace the ink cartridge that needs to be replace—thereby reducing your printing and ink costs. The scanner on the Brother MFC-J430W does not need an additional driver and is designed to make scanning easier and more efficient. Other than scanning to print, you can also scan your document and send it to your email address. The software automatically scans your document and sends it to your email application, which will then attach it to a new email so you just need to send it as an attachment. The printer is also equipped with OCR or Optional Character Recognition that allows you to scan your document and convert it into a digital text, whereby you can open and edit your file in your word processing document. The scan-to-image capability allows you to scan your file and send it directly to your image editing software. You can choose to have your image in different formats such as PDF, JPEG and TIFF for black and white documents. With the Brother MFC-J430W printer, you will also be able to scan documents and send them to a designated folder in your computer or network so you don’t need to spend time filing them manually.
