I ordered Oralite black reflective tape and the identification on the roll says it's 3M. They could be similar in reflectiveness but I can't say, Oralite has 3 versions of black reflective tape and I know nothing about the 3M tape. So far it does reflect the light coming from my cell phone. It does appear to be new and both brands are supposedly good brands for reflective tapes, It'll probably be reflective enough.
