The packaging may have been the issue, but the bottom line is, you shouldn't sell broken stuff to kids. My son was really looking forward to this item and now he just has a broken toy. I contacted the seller and they didn't respond. I wouldn't recommend buying anything from this seller to anyone. They obviously don't care if they send broken items, or package items poorly to ship.

It was an older product but had the unique features I was looking for that I wasn't able to find in current product offerings. I was delighted I was able to find one in like new condition.
