The previous one made of plastic served me well but time marches on and thousands of heat cycles took their toll. This setup I sturdy, at least as well if not better built and the filter is washable and seems of very good build quality. The seller shipped quickly it was well packed and arrived in good condition. Buy a gasket it will not come with a new one. All in all for the price it's a great value and looks great!
