Notes
John Mayall's unique acoustic quartet release Turning Point was recorded live in 1969 during a show at New York City's famed Fillmore East institution just after Mick Taylor left to join the Rolling Stones. The album instead features the guitar playing of Jon Mark and John Almond on sax and flute but no drums which created a textured sound that was radically different from their previous releases. Home to the Mayall favorites "Room To Move," "The Laws Must Change," "California" and "I'm Gonna Fight for You J.B." Colored 180g vinyl LP from Friday Music, mastered by Joe Reagoso. Inner sleeve art featuring lyrics and graphics from the rare album insert.
