The 3-D printed screw threads rarely ever hold on these cases and I end up having to tape them closed shortly after putting them to use. I think the issue was they were printing just a tiny bit larger than anticipated. Now the threads are able to get a grip when tightening. In the future I may make another version with sd card access as well but for now I corrected the issue with the fasteners. Thank you!
