We couldn't have planned it any better....One weekend in December of '06, we found ourselves with some free time. The studio we wanted was, by chance, available to us that Saturday. So we spent two days playing the same five songs, then went to the studio and killed it. In a few hours, John, Peter and I had played each song twice. We picked the best of each and called in Joy to lay down some keys and harmonies. She had a broken ankle and a two month old baby with her, yet pulled through like a champ! Over the next couple of months, as we found time, we mixed, listeded, mixed, listened...until finally, we (Pete) couldn't pick out anything else to 'fix' and our quick little recording session turned into a masterfully produced EP.
