    It smells awful. I have tried to remove the fungi smell by letting it out under sunlight every day, but it is still stinky.

    We glad you like the coat and "a bad smoky or musty odor" just a scent of dry French lavender used to store the fur as a moth repellent. It'll disappear once you'll remove the the little organza pouch filled with it.
