The manufacture detail of the swivel ball mechanism is DEFECTIVE..... VERY POOR quality control of this tom mount assembly.
You are lucky, I am an engineer, and well able to overcome this problem..... as I managed to repair the mechanical action that was totally JAMMED... saving us ALL a return and refund request.
Import hardware design and assembly is not always up to the top quality standards that it should be.
