Este es el caso del español y el catalán, dos idiomas en contacto que, hasta ahora, no contaban con un estudio pormenorizado de las semejanzas y disimilitudes que manifiestan sus universos fraseológicos. El presente libro no pretende echar más leña al fuego para que el lector tregui foc pels queixals, sino que persigue cubrir dicha laguna mediante el análisis cognitivo-simbólico y contrastivo de sus unidades.
