Seller Notes: “Antique English Regency double scroll end mahogany leather settee couch, newly upholstered to a ... “Antique English Regency double scroll end mahogany leather settee couch, newly upholstered to a professional standard in full grain chestnut brown leather, circa 1830, in excellent condition. The mahogany frame has also been cleaned and French polished, the colour and patination is of an excellent standard. Nominal old used marks to the leading edges of the mahogany frame and legs but nothing significant considering the age of the item. No missing carving to the frame. The antique couch is solid with no breaks, splits or movements. It sits firm on the ground and does not wobble. The antique couch has been newly upholstered in top quality full grain brown leather. the leather upholstery is new, free from wear, damage, rips etc. The leather frame is studded in traditional metal studs, in keeping with the original design. The antique Regency couch features a newly webbed base the original detachable horse hair swab cushion fillings and two bolster cushions at each end.”
