    The coil produces a much hotter spark than my stock ignition coil. However, once installed my CDI Module went out and I had to purchase a new one to go back to operating my 1983 Honda motorcycle. May have been a fluke given my original CDI Module is 40 years old. However, didn't want to risk harming my new CDI Module and so was provided a prompt refund on this coil. Thus, be careful when using this high performance coil with an AC magneto based ignition system. It may be fine with a DC bike.
