    Vary nice shovel definitely Titanium, weighs 1 pound 1 ounce. Its replacing my M1910 shovel for backpacking trips, that weighed 1 pound 11.8 ounces. I also bought the cold steel shovel too, to compare with and use its sheath (which does fit) the coldsteel weighed 1 pound 11 ounces, so there is definitely some good weight savings. This shovel came clean and unused and the handle was raw wood as described that made it easy to finish and it looks great with some walnut stain.
