The supplier has fitted new commando soles made in Italy which are different from the original soles but will be up to the job and fitted well. The boots do not have the loop around lugs for laces at the top as my older boots have and consequently have to be laced and relaced when putting on/off. The older system was much better. The laces have lost their metal ends and so i have had to buy a new set. New laces would have been good to include.
