    Thank you, much better plastic quality with new gear. Solved problem - cut hole in bottom tray to access gear, removed old gear, split new gear with xacto knife, spread new gear and forced on shaft, applied epoxy to shaft, slide new gear in place and clamped gear together around split. Make sure paper loading mechanism is down before powering up.
