Those that remain often survive in very imperfect copies with nitrate damage and with missing scenes. We are very fortunate that this film is in almost perfect condition. This strange feedback lacks objectivity and is factually incorrect. Fortunately, all other buyers from all corners of the US and from all over the world appreciate our efforts to show to the public rare silent masterpieces and have made our Silent Gems Collection a great success.

Agnes Ayres is incredibly lovely and touching in her role, which requires her to show many differing emotions. I was so impressed by the beautiful work the Classic Screen Gems people did in restoring this wonderful film.

The actors are good, finely directed, and the lighting is well done. I wish silent movies were back in production like in the good old days. Movies like these need to be brought back. Pure magical joy.

It is amazing that movies of this kind don't have spoken words but make quite a cinematic statement. Lon Chaney is called "The Man With A Thousand Faces. Sometimes you look at him and barely know it's him. I am a Lon Chaney fan. One of his best.
