All core bits purchased from this seller cored 2.25"-2.5" depth in concrete successfully, but it's a hard & slow job. Coring eight holes of various diameters took days but these bits did work. Have patience and a GOOD 1/2" drill preferably rated 8-9 amps or a professional coring drill. Feel drill often for excess motor heat, don't burn it up.
