    I have two cats on different dry foods. The feeders work great however I don't use the battery function. I leave them plugged into an outlet. Also, I took the tag comes with two rings a small and big to attach to their collars. I used the small one because it seemed when they when to the feeders the distance from their collar to the RFID mechanism worked much better and always opened the feeder up. With the big one it was hit and miss. Love the feeders.

    Item arrived quickly, but malfunctioned. Door would not open. Returned for refund. Chose not to replace because unit has a preset max for access to 4 times within 24 hours. You can't set it to zero. Wouldn't have bought if I knew that. No issues with seller.

    Hi Carol , we tested your unit once returned and it did work., You can set the timer to 0 and OFF. Your feeder had those settings " ON" which caused errors on your end. All new versions have timer settings removed to avoid any errors. Sorry it didn't work out.
