The batteries (3) were dead, however, and when I replaced them, the musical tune, Hail to the Chief, did not work. So the seller did not test the watch prior to shipping. Luckily, I had an original same pocket watch and successfully replaced the broken musical circuit with the old watch circuit that worked fine.Reply from: ennairam- Feedback replied by seller ennairam.- Feedback replied by seller ennairam.The listing stated the watch was purchased before 2008 and would likely need new batteries.
