Product Information
The most beloved of the Master Strategy series, The Quest for the Rings combines a Tolkien-esque story with sword-and-sorcery action. Playable characters include Warrior, who battles enemies with a sword; the Wizard, who stuns enemies with magic; the Phantom, who walks through walls; or the Changeling, who can turn invisible. Together, they combat the forces of the Ringmaster (optionally played by a third player) to obtain ten mystical Rings. Using the game board and tokens, the heroes have a limited number of turns to obtain the Rings. Starting near the top of a video dungeon, they journey through dangerous labyrinths, and past dragons and other monsters to attain a Ring at the bottom. Complicating the quest are dungeon hazards, like shifting halls or lava walls, placed by the Ringmaster. Appreciated by Advanced Dungeons & Dragons fans, The Quest for the Rings is a wonderfully complex and entertaining game.
