This rare and hard-to-find orange Pokémon version features an engraved silhouette of the Torchic Pokémon on the front lid. With vibrant color and portable capability, the handheld console allows you to play games almost anywhere. This orange Pokémon Center edition of the Game Boy SP operates with a 32-bit ARM CPU. It utilizes 32 KB of RAM and 96 KB of VRAM internally with 256 KB of external WRAM. With these components, it powers a TFT color LCD screen at a resolution of 240x160. The GBA SP displays games in two modes of brilliant color. This includes 511 colors in character mode and 32,768 colors in bitmap mode. The display is crisp and clear and measures 1.6 inches by 2.4 inches. The handheld console is compatible with all of the Game Boy Game Paks released. It features backward compatibility with original Game Boy and Color models. This means that gamers take advantage of the orange GBA SP to enjoy all of their favorite games for the series.The orange Game Boy SP Pokémon Center version has a D-pad and two buttons with which to play games. Two shoulder buttons allow for further options of control. Its design is pleasantly ergonomic, allowing play for hours without discomfort. Furthermore, the handheld console is compact and lightweight. Redesigned from the original, it has a flip mechanism that allows it to be closed, enhancing compatibility. It weighs only 5 ounces and measures 3.3 inches by 3.23 inches by 0.96 inches when the lid is closed. This allows gamers to easily carry it around in their pockets to play games whenever they desire. The unit also has an integrated and highly beneficial LCD light. This illuminates the display so that gamers always see what they’re playing regardless of the time of day. The GBA SP’s portability is complemented by the rechargeable lithium-ion battery that powers it. This power source provides 10 hours of playing time with the LCD light switched on. Without the LCD, users get an even more impressive 18 hours of usage. Additionally, with a 110V AC power adapter, it charges quickly in only three hours. This helps to ensure that gamers don’t have to wait too long to continue playing.
