Reviews
The What Can I Do stories are a good introduction on the difficulty in managing/addressing these cases. Appreciate the discussion on the impact of mental illness in juvenile facilities., This does a great job at presenting and disentangling the complexity of the relationship between trauma, victimization, delinquency, and involvement in the juvenile justice system. In fact, Id argue it does a better job at tackling this aspect of juvenile justice and delinquency than any other juvenile delinquency textbook Im familiar with., The up-to-date graphics and charts are a huge hit with students. They like to see where their state fits in the equation.
