    The diaphragms are shipped in proper packaging. The diaphragms are of high quality silk as mentioned. The wires are not insulated. Was a problem with my B&W DM12 tweeter. I had to run the wires through the diaphram at the outer edge. Any other wire routing resulted in shorting to magnet when assembled. I have the diaphragms mounted and working. They sound wonderful. It improves the speaker sensitivity. The speakers went from sounding laid-back to now engaging. A great value for the performance.

    Appears very well made. Received it sooner than expected. My first tweeter rebuild and it sounds terrific! Installed in a rather exotic tweeter… saved hundreds. Hoping this lasts, but if the other vintage one fails, I have the second diaphragm of the pair purchased at the ready!
