I'm grateful to have this book as it was one my mother had in the 50s ... her houseplant bible. And soon to be mine. To see the photos and binding again after so many decades was a treat. Her copy is long gone, of course. Thank you for taking such care in sending it, and I'm amazed at how quickly it arrived after I placed my order.

The one volume that was a concern is the Country Style volume which was sun faded and has a fraying hardcover top, bottom and side. The volume inside is readable and I will have to shop around to find a volume of Country Style that is in better shape than this one. I am going to give you a positive grading because I know it is getting difficult to find these books today. Keep me in mind for the Time-Life Series of books.
