When I opened the back of the watch to see why, there was an incorrect battery (far too small) lodged under the plastic holder, wedged in place with a crumpled up piece of paper. I’m annoyed I had to spend nearly another $10 to get it working again. Luckily, it was only the battery and everything else seems to work fine.
