So I applied red loctite to it, reassembled it, waited 24 hours, put it back on the bike... took a short ride, and it fell apart while riding and it stranded me 4 miles from my home. I tried to save a couple of dollars and paid a very dear price for it. Please don't waste your money on this item. It is legal, public theft in broad daylight.
