About this product
Product Information
Revolving around the Toy Story universe, Disney's Toy Story Activity Center features all kind of learning activities that will have children building basic math skills, watching movie clips from the animated film, drawing interactive pictures and playing various games with Buzz Lightyear and his pal Woody.

Varying activities are found between Andy's Room, Sid's Room and Pizza Planet; you'll begin in the former room after signing in. While in Andy's Room, you can participate in a few games including Sums Up, Five in a Row and Marble Art. As a card game, the objective behind Sums Up is to reach the mentioned limit number by discarding the right amount of cards. Winning comes in the form of either hitting this number or by having Hamm go over the limit.

After showing off your elite card skills, engage in a heated battle between the Green Army Men and the Little Tikes Toddle Tots. Played against a computer-controlled or human opponent, your mission in Five in a Row is just as it says -- you'll need to have five game pieces lined up in a row, either horizontally, vertically or diagonally in order to win. Additionally, you'll want to prevent the enemy forces from doing the same. Once you've conquered the opposing army, design abstract creations in Marble Art. Rather than creating a lifeless, dull picture, you can use special effects such as dim, chase, twinkle, rainbow and an eraser to create a masterpiece!

Once you've finished the activities in Andy's Room, head on over to Sid's Room for some new activities! Buzz Lightyear has been entrapped in one of Sid's mechanical creations -- in Code Breaker, your objective is to save the hero. There are different puzzle categories in which to select including Perfect Fit, The Last Straw, Continue It and Odd Shape out; you'll basically match certain shapes together and single out shapes that don't belong. Afterwards, try your hands at the Creature Creator. Aptly named, you'll create your very own toy using various parts through a series of levels. Levels become progressively harder as you'll need to do more things in order to succeed. Finally, check out Sid's Sonic Boom Box and create your very own soundtrack! You'll utilize all kinds of effects including tempo, pitch, echo, reverbs and flange.

Feeling hungry? Head on over to the Pizza Planet for some more Toy Story action! Featuring one or two player support, Slimon is a game of memory and sequencing. In the tradition of Simon Says, Succession comes by memorizing patterns of colored slime. Fusion Flow features a disjointed 3D maze in which you must piece together. Buzz Lightyear is counting on you to help him out -- while avoiding hazards and various objectives, you'll piece together pipe shapes to get from point a to point b. Last but not least is the Mystic Portal Theater. When you've done all the activities you can, kick back and enjoy your favorite clips from the Toy Story movie.

Playable on the PC or Apple Macintosh computers, Disney's Toy Story Activity Center also has varying difficulty levels for younger players, an on-screen help menu and save/print features. It's aimed at children ages five and over.
