Although I did not need the entire mirror assembly, the mirror has a plastic framework that snaps into place with the mirror attached to that framework. The way the mirror is adhered to the plastic mounting bracket, it is impossible to buy just a mirror replacement and have success. This was my alternative, and it worked perfect. I now have an extra right side mirror encasement if needed. :)
