I usually wear size 8 Clark flip flops because they only make full size not half size. The base is firm and offers support. The design may be flawed, since I believe leather was stretched, and only Velcro closure, not buckle so very little ability to tighten. I could not wear these, gave them away. Not sellers fault. Maybe these run large?
