The ad reads " Vintage Birdseye Maple". However, I only had to open the box to see that it was made with cheap soft wood, not Birdseye Maple.
The seller neglected to mention the numerous cracks on the top of the box as the applique did not fare well when exposed to sun light, as the finish shrunk and rippled on the top of the box.
Disappointing.
This is a 10.00 ,(at best ) box not a 60.00 box.
