Whilst the lamp was packed carefully with polythene chips it arrived with the glass shade shattered. Not all the pieces were in the packaging and I can only surmise it may have been broken on dispatch..I am too unwell to go through the rigmarole of sending it back.... Besides which I like the lamp .Only I now have to try and find another glass shade !
