Seemed to an excellent unit, however, the connector on the Kindle that you plug it into is very small. That, combined with the pins & holes having no taper / guidance & it becomes a recipe for disaster. Bottom line, the connector, which is only mounted via the printed circuitry, tore loose. End of the Kindle.
