The cable exit is open however and unsealed but a 15mm rubber gland does the trick. The cable securing bolts are Allen bolts that screw into the cable, to not risk damaging your cable a small length of 15mm pipe (wrapped in electrical masking tape for a snug fit) was placed over the cable and the securing bolts screwed into this, clamping the cable in place. A very happy purchase.
