Top the ring is 5/8" (16mm) wide (east-west) and ½" (13mm) tall (north-south) x 1/4" (6mm) deep (front-back) with a 2mm shank, all in high quality polished 18K gold. The garnet is divided among twelve 2mm faceted polished beads that are all tightly prong set. As a vintage piece, there are the inevitable small scratches that are only visible under magnification. The photos are highly magnified so you can see any possible defects. Otherwise, no dings, dents, or chips. The ring weighs 6.02 grams and is a size 7. It is a sparkling magenta red.”
