It did not come with instructions. For pre-LCI E90: Brown/white and yellow cable need to go into pin 2 and 4 of the plug in the steering column (take out the 2 old cables). If up/down shift is mixed up then switch the cables. Blue plug are obvious, as they connect only in one way between the original blue connector next to the shifter.
