These grips are very similar to the OE part. They are slightly shorter but this doesn't affect the clutch side. To get a proper fit on the throttle side you should shorten the throttle slide by about 6mm and remove the circular lip at the switch end using a dremel tool.
Then the grip will slide all the way to the switch unit and only a real anorak will spot the difference :)
