Does not do this on the new remote, it just turns light on and off, so behaves a bit differently to the original. Also the light on the original lights all buttons brightly, this remote seems to not light up as bright, even with new batteries. This is not a complaint, just an observation. I am happy with the purchase, thankyou :)
