Time will tell if the nonskid backing holds up with use. The color is very nice. It's purpose in my home is to make a hallway less troublesome for our dog, who struggles badly with slippery floors. My purchase is a 20' length, and it laid perfectly flat right out of the box. Bonus - no odor - which is a horrid problem with many rugs.
