These are datacenter drives and they are noisy because they were not expected to be beside someone sleeping. The noise does not keep me awake I was just concerned for their integrity. The seller helped me run a test. Before it completed I bought the 28TB. Then the test completed with flying colours, the drive is just noisy I am enterprise noobie :P Thank you seller very much!
