I wanted to buy another like it but saw this instead. A replica watch commemorating the first flight in space by Yuri Gagarin in 1961. It was well priced but I was a little concerned that it was coming from Ukraine. I needn't have worried as it came very quickly and in great condition. It is well made and looks great and authentic.

I contacted the seller and asked for a discount because of that and the seller refused, saying it WOULD be delivered by Christmas. It was delivered January 3. However, it arrived safe and working, and my son loves it. An interesting conversation starter for his new career.

The Russians may not like batteries but they don't skimp on gold. Must be at least 17k gold. It came with the box (nice). Given the size and changing preferences, I have two watches and two young granddaughters. Perfect Xmas presents. These watches are beautiful.
