They responded very quickly and explained that they had called the factory and got a very accurate description of the frosting and the actual process of how it gets frosted. The frost was important to me for the feel of the case in use. I didn't want that sticky slimy feel. It's well designed fits great and the red buttons are a great idea too. Plus it feels like an OEM Apple silicone iPhone case on the frosted back. Love it!
