This is from my husbands family in Pennsylvania and been in storage.. We took this to the Antique's Roadshow and was told it is a high end dress from the 1890's. I thought the buttons were glass and he informed me they were made of coal. No smells. I am not an expert so please ask questions. We are letting it go because we want someone to enjoy it instead of it being kept in a container for over 100 years. I tried to try it on when I was like 110 lbs and couldn't get me arms in it...a long time ago.”
