Notes
Limited translucent red colored vinyl LP pressing. Reissue of 2001 album. On Wages Of Sin, new vocalist Angela Gossow now has to face a seemingly overpowering shadow from the past for the first time. After all, she replaces none other than Johan Liiva, who had already played together with Arch Enemy guitarist Michael Amott in the original death metal combo Carnage before the latter's Carcass days. That she has solved this task so brilliantly, is incredible. Much like 1999's Burning Bridges, Wages Of Sin is a powerful barrage of complex riffing that alternates between the blindingly brutal and the stunningly melodic, all the while maintaining a level of intensity that is rarely heard on present-day metal recordings. The musicianship, as usual, is impeccable, with the Amott brothers proving once again that they are the masters of their craft, with the bulk of their guitar work owing as much death metal overtones as they appear to be derived from a more traditional hard rock approach, particularly in the song arrangements, which rarely deviate from the conventional.

- _***n (170)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseThe "Latin Classics. Volume 2" CD is brand new, as stated in the ad.The disc itself is of good quality. The CD was packaged in a cardboard box, and unfortunately, the jewel case cracked during transportation and delivery, but the seller compensated for this issue by refunding 20% of the order price. The seller always responds to customer messages, which is very nice. The seller is honest and respectable. I am very pleased with the purchase. Thank you very much! I wish the seller all the best!

- .***3 (108)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseAnother great Rarewaves purchase. Once again, the DVD I ordered came well-packaged, secure, and exactly as described. Shipping time was the usual two weeks which is understandable. I do consider the price to be fair all said and done. Overall, another great transaction. Thank you.
