One of the premier drummers of the Big Band era, Gene Krupa gained his greatest fame as Benny Goodman's drumming in the 130s. HOT DRUMS was recorded live at various venus around the US in the 1940s, this CD features the Gene Krupa Orchestra as it actually sounded in their heyday. A must for jazz collectors.
