    It’s definitely a solid state, which is cool. The finish is matte, not glossy as shown in the picture, but I think I’ll be able to swap the cover out with my original autolite regulators cover. Not a big deal, but for the premium price of this solid state repro I would have liked for the paint finish to match the picture (which is the original’s finish). It works, so as far as condition goes; I’m pleased. There’s no flicker anymore.
